In late 2003, two inventors had a vision to create a unique smart card that would combine the powerful information delivery mechanism of a CD/DVD with the functionality and versatility of a plastic card.  They succeeded in building a prototype card.

R & R Card Systems, Inc. (“R & R”) was formed to take the prototype card from its conceptual design to a commercially viable consumer product.  The first CDplus ConnectCard™ was sold in May 2005.  A patent was issued for an Interactive Multimedia Smart Affinity Card by the United States Patent Office on May 8, 2007.  The CDplus ConnectCard continues to evolve.

R & R also continues to evolve.  It is taking the creative genius and foresight of its founders and employees, and developing new and exciting business opportunities.
